CHRISTIAN ENDEAVOUR UNION

The Wellington Christian Endeavour Union held its monthly meeting last evening, the chair being occupied by the retiring president, Rev. Dr. Pinfold, D.D. who extended u very warm welcome’ to the incoming president, the Rev. T. Keith Ewen, president-elect of the W.C.E.U. The Rev. Ewen replied, thankin" delegates for the honour they had done him. A very interesting report was made by the secretary on the Australian Christian Endeavour Convention, held in Sydney. A letter was read from the. N Z.C.E.U. expressing their best wishes to the union for the future. A unanimous vote of thanks was passed to the Rev. Dr. Pinfold for his services to the Christian endeavour movement. Matters pertaining to the forthcoming convention were dealt with. The Wellington Convention is to be held on May 11 and May 1° in the Taranaki Street Methodist Church. The opening day will be for juniors and the second day for seniors.
