ALLOCATION OF CITY RESERVES. On the recommendation of the Reserves Committee the following allocation of grounds for winter sports was approved at last night’s meeting of tho City
Totels ' 10 12 2 The use of Seatoun Park is to be granted to the Wellington Football Association, and the Director of Parks and Reserves \will endeavour to provide for additional grounds for tho Wellington Rugby Union on the Miramar Park. The latter ground being v.ery damp, is only fit for play in fine weather. The Basin Reserve is to be utilised for playin" of finals and representative matches from June 4 to September 3, the allocation to be as under: —Football Association, 4 -davs; Hockey Association, 4 days; Football League, 3 days; Rugby Union, 3 days.
