CONSTRUCTION OF LIGHT RAILWAYS
AUSTRALIAN FIRM'S OFFER. By Telegraph.—Press Association. • Hamilton, April 7. Mr. George Parr, chairman of ths Waikato-West Coast Light Railway Board has received word from the engineers that an eminent Australian firm has made an offer to finance the construction of the whole of the light railwage from Hamilton to Raglan, and! Kawhia. It is expected that it will be possible to commence construction almost immediately.
