GREAT FIRE IN TOKIO
TWO THOUSAND HOUSES AND i STORES DESTROYED.

Tokio, April 6.
A fire in the Asakuea section, the most thickly populated district of the capital, destroyed two thousand houses and stores. The conflagration was assisted by a high wind and continues in the A.sakusa park district. The famous Kwannon temple is threatened with destraction.—Reuter.
