PETONE COURT

THP.EE MONTHS FOR VAGRANCY.

Before Messrs. J. Piper and J. H. Burn. J.P.’s, ut a sitting of tho Petone Court yesterday, Frances Meehan and Miu-y Augusta Meehan were charged with being idle and disorderly persons, insofar as they were without visible lawful means of support. Accused, who had bean arrested the evening previously, pleaded guilty. It was stated that accused were persons of undesirable habits, and -were known not to have done any work for several years. The Bench sentenced each accused to three months’ imprisonment.
