STATEMENT OF POLICY SUBMITTED TO AMERICA By Telegraph—Press Assoelation-Oopyright. (Rec. April 6, 8.20 p.m.) Washington, April 5. The Persian Minister has submitted to the State, Department a statement of policy of the new Persian Government, which includes the abrogation of the Anglo-Persian Treaty and the evacuation of all foreign troops from Persia. Tho Government’s programme also includes the reorganisation of the army, the dissolution of the courts, the establishment of justice on a soldier basis, the partition of Government lands' amongst the peasants, the revision of certain concessions, and an invitation to foreign advisers to organise the country. It is believed that this policy will hasten America’s decision on the question of recognition the Persian Government, and the United States will champion anew the cause of Persian independence. —Aus.-N.Z.
