MOUNT MORGAN MINES STOPPAGE
CONFERENCE WITH PREMIER.
Brisbane, April 6.
Mr. Boyd, manager of Uro Mount Morgan mines, is conferring with Mr. Theodore (Premier) to-day, with a view to re-starting the mines, which will be definitely closed unless the miners accept a 20 per cent, reduction in v ages.—Press Assn.

Representatives of the Mount Morgan Company and the miners unsuccessfully conferred on the question of reduction of wages,, and adjourned till Thursday.— Press Assn.
