SWIMMING
THE G.P.O. CLUB. The final events for the Rhodes Bowl competition were, held a.t. the Te Aro baths on Saturday, viz , a 100yds. handicap and a diving competition. The results were as follow :— 100yds—I. M. Hill, 1; S. Hall, 2; H, B. Simmons,' 3. Time, 72sec. Diving competition—G. H. Gray, 1; R. C. Smi’-h. 2; H. B. Simmons, 3. Mr. E. Wilton acted as starter, and Messrs. Gamble and Tobin ns lodges for the 100 yards handicap. Air. F. Wilton was also sole judge of the dive. The winner of the Rhodes Bowl for the ensuing year was J. I. M. Hill, with 15 points. The final point* were: J. I. M. Hill. 15 points; N. H. Winter. 7 points; H. B. Simmons. 7 points: S. Hall, 5 points; G. Grav, 5 points; R. C. Smith, yl points; J. H. Cowdell. 3 points.
