It 1 was rumour'fd. on the waterfront yesterday that the watersiders engaged on the Union Company's steamer Wanaka, had refused to work overtime after 5 p.m., but the report was stated to be incorrect. - , ~ - During tho day, however, some trouble did occur on the vessel. The members of a gang working tho ship are alleged to have disobeyed certain instructions given them, consequently they were discharged. The matter was referred to tho local Disputes Committee, which will meet this morning to consider the case.
