TOLL GATES QUESTION
TO BE FULLY INVESTIGATED.
In reply to his inquiry as to the inten. tions of the Government ™ regard to the establishment of a system of toll gate* throughout the Dominion, Mr. Ediijirrt Newman, M.F.,. has received a reply from the Hon. J. G. Coates, Minister of Public AVorks, to the effect that it is intended to refer this question to a committee for full investigation.
