REDUCTION OF STAFFS RESENTED (Rec. March 22, 5.5 p.m.) Bome, March 21. Resenting the dismissal of eight hundred men in connection with the scheme for reducing staffs, three thousand men of the Michelin Tyre Works entered the works and remained inactive, causing heavy loss to the firm, which immediately closed down.
