In the House of Commons Colonel Amery said tho total applications for exservice men’s passages under the Government scheme of set'lemcnt overseas, amounted to 75.522. The number finally approved by reprewntativos of the Overseas Governments was 28,548. Free passage vouchors h.n.d been . issued to 25.491. With the excaptfon of 2500 who wore unable to proceed to New Zealand owing to shipping and other difficulties, few of those to whom vouchers had l>een issued wore still in the United Kingdom. —Reuter.
