SPORTS MEETING HELD.

The first annual sports meeting of tho Wellington Boys’ Institute, in conjunction with the public school championship for Miss M'Whae’s cup, was hold at the Athletic Park on Saturday. afternoon. Owing to the large entries, the Institute 220yds. 'senior and 440yds. intermediate championships were not run off, but will bo completed later at the Basin Reserve. ’
