SALE BY AUCTION

An important sale of railway leasee by auction was held io-day, Mr. Newton King submitting 35 Broadway sections on behalf of the Minister, for terms of 21 years, with a right of renewal for a further 21 years. Bidding wan very keen, in the aggregate fully 20 per cent, above the npcot prices being obtained.
