MR. BONAR LAW BETTER

RETAINING SEAT IN PARLIAMENT.

(Rec. March 20, 5.5 p.m.)

London,' March 19

To-day’s bulletin states that Mr. Bonar Law’s health has distinctly improved. He has gone to the country for a few days prior to an extended holiday in the Riviera. He will retain his seat in Parliament, hoping that his absence will be only temporary. Monday’s meeting of Unionist members of the House of Commons is expected unanimously to elect Mr. Chamberlain their leader, deferring the election of a leader for the whole party—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
