LETHAL GAS IN EXECUTIONS

Nevada, March 18. The Legislature has passed a Bill, which the Governor has declared his intention to sign, providing that executions of persons condemned to death will be done by lethal gas. A specially-con-structed cell will house the prisoner, whose execution date will extend over a week, and the gas will lie administered some night wittyn the week while the prisoner is asleep.—Aus.-N.Z, Gable Assn.
