BANNER WON BY THE LAW
The Victoria University College Amateur Athletic Club’s annual inter-faculty tournament took place at- Kelburn Park on Saturday afternoon in the. presence' of a. large number of spectators. Conditions were none too pleasant for the competitors, and the high wind blowing militated against tho registering of fast times. Nevertheless, the entries for the various events were good, and the afternoon was not without interest for those who had assembled to watch the sport. The banner was won by the faculty of law (391 points), whose representatives defeated those of arts and science bv four pointe. Following are the results: — Throwing 161 b. hammer championship —R.
