RUMOURS OF DISSENSION DENIED.
Adelaide, March 18. The Cricket Association Executive farewelled the Englishmen. Mr. G. M. Evan, presdent, stated that he had seen the visitors on tho field, in tho dressing-room, and at their hotel, and there could not have been a.more united band of players. He was glad of the opportunity to contradict the idle, silly, and untrue rumours to the contrary.— Press Assn.
AUSTRALIAN ELEVEN PLAY GOLDFIELDS FOURTEEN. (Rec. March 19, 1.25 a.m.) Perth, March 18. An Australian eleven played a goldfields fourteen at Kalgoorlie. Goldfields, in tho first innings, made 123. Collins secured five wickets for 42 runs. Australia has lost five wickets for 71 .runs.— Press Assn.
