PRICES OF WHEAT AND FLOUR
PROPOSED REDUCTION IN AUSTRALIA. Sydney, March 18. The New South Wales Cabinet has decided to urge the Wheat Control Board to reduce the export price of flour, also of wheat by a shilling a bushel. The Hon. W. F., Dunn (Minister of Agriculture) is visiting Melbourne with that object. Mr. 11. Darling, of the Advisory Committee, and Mr. H. A. Pitt, manager of the board, in a statement made to the Press, explained that the proposed reduction, if given effect to, would have but little influence on the export trade in view of the freight difficulty.—Press Assn.
