RIFLE SHOOTING
LOSS ON NATIONAL ASSOCIATION’S MEETING.
London, March 14.
At the National Rifle Association’s meting fhe report showed a loss for the year of 42235. The nexv conditions for the King’s Prize permit the use of approved aperture sights and wind-gauges. The first stage will te seven shots at 200, 500, and 600 yards; the second stage ten shots at 800 and 600 yards, and the third stage, fifteen shots at 900 and 1000 yards.
Captain Richardson spoke on the tour to Australia, and emphasised the importance of the association realising that it was legislating for rifle shooting throughout the Empire. Ho stressed the fact that Australian marksmen had advantages oxving to Government support; the provision of free ranges enabling them to offer prize lists larger than .that for Bisley.—Aus.-N.Z.
