FIRES

The Fire Briagde was called out twice yesterday. The first call was at 12.32 yesterday morning to Mr. Phillips s butcher’s shop, Courtenay Place, where the office and its contents were damaged. At 7.51 a cull was received to WiMtehall boardinghouse, Plimmer’s Steps, Ihe storeroom and its contents were badly damaged before the flames were cheeked.
