Mr. E. H. Dawson, stationmaster at Thorndon, who will retire on superannuation next month, will be succeeded by Air. J. Fraser, at present stationmaster at Gisborne. Air. F. Truman, no.w in the District Traffic Manager’s Auckland, will succeed Air. Fraser at Gisborne.
Captain Frank Hudson, formerly of the headquarters staff of the Defence Department, has taken up his residence in Wellington for a year.
Air. A. E. Kernot, who is now a resident of Auckland, has been in Wellington for the week-end.
Air. Frank Tait, of the firm of J. and N. Tait, has been appointed a director of J. C. Williamson, Ltd. Messrs. L. B. G rimstone, Wanganui, and A.’ Loudoun, Napier, have been admitted members of the Wellington Stock Exchange.
