LABOUR CANDIDATE RETURNED FOR KIRKCALDY.

The by-election at Kirkcaldy necessitated by Mr. H. Dalziel’s resignation, resulted:— Tom Kennedy (Labour) 11,674 Lockhart (Coalition-Liberal) 10,139 Kirkcaldy is the Coalition’s thirteenth Ipss and Labour’s seventh gain since ths general election. —Aiw.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
