Sir Joseph Ward, in proposing the toast of "Our Chairman,” alluded to the impending establishment of flying between Australia and New Zealand. Lord Desborough read a telegram from tho King, in which His Majesty referred to the great acliievment of the guests in flying to Australia, adding that he was in hearty sympathy with the gathering in honouring these distinguished aviators.
