CHORAL UNION
ANNUAL MEETING.
The annual meeting of tho Wellington Choral Union was held last evening in St. John’s Hall, Mr. J. R. Burley presiding in the unavoidable absence of Mr. A. .L. Wilson.
The annual report was adopted. The election of officers resulted: — Patrons, His Excellency the Governor-Gen-eral, Viscount Jellicoo, and the Right Hon. IV. F. Massey. P.C.; president, Mr. A. L. Wilson; vice-presidents, Arc’hbishop Redwood, Bishop Sprott, I'he RevDr. Gibb, and Mr. George Shirtcliffe; hon. conductor. Air. H. Temple White; accompanist, Miss Dorothy Mills; hon. librarian, Mr. J. E. Perry; assistant, Mr. S. G. Hamerten; hon. secretary, Mr. W. E. Cnldow; assistant, Mr. E. A. Tsinner; hon. treasurer, Mr. W. H. Chittey; hon. auditor, Mr. C. D. Morpeth; hoif. solicitor, Mr. E. P. Hay; committee, Messrs. C. Webb, W. H. Long, H. Cathie, W. J. Charters and J. Samson.
