MANCHESTER UNITY ANNUAL DISTRICT CONFERENCE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Featherston, February 21. Tho annual conference of deputies of the Wellington District Order of Oddfellows, Manchester Unity, opened at Feafherston this afternoon. Tho District Grand Master, Bro. W. G. French, presided. Card eaid he had been connected with the order for many years, and could appreciate something of the value and scope of the work of (the Manchester Unity Order. There could be no question of the stability and the importance of the organisation, which was of a world-wide eliaracter Zith a great history liehind and a great futiiTc before it. With a world-wide membership of over a million, and a fetal capital of .£18,000.000, it must stand Tsuccessful conference. The District Grand Master briefly and suitably acknowledged the welcome.
