MOTOR CYCLING
Tho speed tests held by the Wellington Motor Cycling Club at Miramar racecourse on Saturday afternoon last were favoured with ideal weather and a good attendance. The following are the results of the different races: —
Open Handicap, three miles (five laps) —D. M’Clay, 3} How About It," 1; Williams, 2J Douglas, 2; Ridler, 3} Triumph, 3. There were thirteen starters. Lig'ht-weight Class.—Alon tier, 25 New Hudson, 1; Barclay. 2J Douglas, 2; Hartshorne, 2} Cleveland, 3. There were three starters.
Miramar Open Handicap, seven laps, distance 4 2-10th ndles. —I). M’Clay, 31 How About It, 1; Dinimock, 4 h.p. Triumph, 2; Brash, 4 h.p. A.J.S., 3. There were eight starters. In tho near future a further programme of sports will be carried out.
