MOVING PICTURE EXHIBITION

The moving picture exhibition of British inddstries will open its New Zealand tour with a series of exhibitions in the King’s Theatre.» The official opening is to take place on Thursday at 2.30 p.m. Invitations io,the opening are being is rtued by the Wellington chambers of commerce to public officials and the leading business houses. The exhibitions will continue on Friday, Monday, and Tuesday, when continuous performances from 2' p.m. to 5 p.m. will be given. A cordial invitation is extended to the public by the promoters to attend these performances, at which films of Great Britain’s leading industries will be be screened. The pictures should prove of special interest to the citizens of Wellington, as they depict factories nt Home under every day conditions, and aie a striking proof of the Old C ountry s maivcllous reorganisation after the war. Such an opportunity has ner*er before been presented to the people of New Zealand of seeing for themselves the intensely interesting and gigantic organisations which have made Britain’s name in the manufacturing world. Children will not be admitted to these afternoon sessions, as arrangements are now being discussed fir a special show for school children. ‘
