A fire attended with fatal consequences occurred early yesterday morning. It originated in a bicycle shop in Macky Street, occupied by W • Gamble. Ihe flames had a good hold when the. outbreak was discovered, and the bin ding was completely destroyed, as was also a two-roomed dwelling at the rear. Mail Sprot’s building was slightly damaged. Arthur John Bustard, aged 28 a onearmed man, who was sleeping in the Uorooined cottage, was badly burned, and died in tho hospital.
