FEATURES AT AN EXHIBITION.

London, February 10. Sir Robert Horne /President of tho .Board of Trade) opened an efficiency exhibition at Olympia, which features demonstrations by disabled men working at manv trades, and research work ini the health departments of the London, Sheffield, and Newcastle Universities. I m Dominion representatives, including the Agcnts-Genoral and Sir .Tames Allen, were specially welcomed at a luncheon, a which Sir Robert Horne pointed out that the demand for increased output and efficiency applied equally to employers and workers. Tie emphasised the importance of the alliance of scientific research and industry. Dr. T. J. Macnainara (Minister of Labour) appealed to the employers for a more rapid absorption of trained disabled men.—Ans.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
