The totals of revenue and expenditure for tire Commonwealth financial halfyear ended December 31 are :-Bcceipts, 000 000, which is X 7,747,000 more than the’ previous half-year. Expenditure, £’6 773 000, or .£7,000,000 more than foi the’corresponding period oj 11919. The public debt now is ,£397,66<,000. against which tho Commonwealth has assets totalling 000,OOP—Press Assn. Lord Headley has married Mrs. Barbara Baynton, an Australian, at the •Marylebone Registry Office, London. Lord Headley was converted to Mohammedanism. racmtljr.
