SUCCESSFUL PICNIC

The management and staff of the British United Shoe Machinery Company, along with a number of friends, held their annual picnic on Saturday at Bellevue Gardens. The party made the journey in mo’or-buses, the weather being all that could be desired. A most successful and enjoyable day was spent. During the day a cricket match between the ladies and gentlemen was played, a tennis match between th? office staff and mechanics, and a bowling match between the staff and the visitors. The B.U.S.M. Shield, awarded by the firm to the department with .he greatest aggregate of points, was won by the office staff.
