WOOL REALISATION SCHEME
GOVERNMENT CREDIT SUGGESTED.
London, January 28. In an interview with tho “Yorkshire Post,” General H. B. Lassetter (late of the Australian Light Horse) said, regarding the wool realisation scheme, that he would like to see the Government
furnishing a credit of, say, twenty millions, in order that low grade wools in the carry-over stocks could be taken to Germany, which was the only country able to deal with it on a commercial basis.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
