Anniversary Day was celebrated yesterday in good weather. Tho principal attractions were the Takapuna races and the Auckland Regatta, which passed off successfully. The motor-launch speed championship of New Zealand, over a iwelve-mile eoui'se, was won by AA . Al K. Geddes s Ha rum, whoso speed works out at 16) knot 5 . The Defender, the only other starter, which did 16 knots, was beaten by Imin. 2see.
