RUGBY LEAGUE
NEW CLUB FORMED
The first meeting of the, newly-formed Kiwi League Football Club was held in t he Trades Hall. Vivian Street, on Thursday evening. After a brief discussion regarding the progress of the club, the following officers were elected for the ensuing rear:—Patron, Mr. C. Odlin; vicepresidents, Messrs. Staff, Ross, Tonks, Wolloard, Heenan and Broughton; committee, Messrs. R. Dawe. H. Hayvice, AV. Nelson. AV. Aamodt. and Boyd. Mr. Leslie M. Murphy was elected 'hon. secretary, and the'duties of treasurer were accepted by Mr. B. Piper.
