SEQUEL TO MOTOR COLLISION
MANSLAUGHTER CHARGE FAILS,

New Plymouth, January 17.
Arising out of a motor collision on New Year’s Eve, in which a young woman, Ruby M. Coates, met with fatal injuries, John Barros, motor mechanic, appeared at tho Magistrate’s Court today charged with manslaughter. At the conclusion of the evidence for the prosecution counsel for the accused submitted that a prirna facie case had not been established, and His M orship (Mr. T. A. B. Bailey, S.M.) dismissed the information.
