There are 250.000 demobilised men still out of work, and they receive tho out-of-work donation at £1 or £1 9s. per week. The Prime Minister, replying to a deputation from tho London County Council on the Unemployment (Relief Works) Bill, pointed out that £57,000,000 had been spent by the Government in out-of-work pay for ex-Service men and civilians.
