LAND SEIZED FOR DEFENCE OF CANAL. (Rec. January 16, 5.5 p.m.) Now York, January 15. The Government of Panama has sent ti vigorous Note to the United States protesting against the seizure by American officers of a email tract of ground east of Colon for the defence of the Panama Canal.
