A CRISIS THREATENED LABOUR PARTY DEMANDS By Telegraph—Press Association-Copyright. (Rec. January 16, 5.5 p.m.) Sydney, January 16. The differences between the Australian labour Party and Mr. Storey, Premier of New South Wales, threaten a crisis. After a further conference the executive of the party resolved tb insist upon Parliament reassembling not later than March to give effect to the Labour jioliey, also that the necessary appointments bo made tb the Legislative Council immediately, in order to secure the passage of the labour measures sent up from the Legislative Assembly. The position will be brought to a head on Tuesday, when the Parliamentary party will assemble to give a decision on the executive’s demands.—Press Assn.
