4 HEALTH OF THE" NATION. Melbourne, January 14. The Science Congress considered a paper by Mr. G. H. Knibbs, Commonwealthi Statistician, on the science of statistics in respect to finance, commerce, and-industry, population, and' foodstuffs, for the purpose of comparing the drift of national world economics. Dr. Park, in a paper on the health of the nation, urged a Commonwealth campaign towards the elimination of factors affecting health revealed by the number of rejects during the war—Press Assn.
