CLUB COMPETITIONS TO-MORROW. Club competitions will be resumed tomorrow after the break occasioned by tne holidays and "rep.” fixtures. Those old rivals, East and Old Boys, meet for the first time, this season on the Basin Reserve, where another good wicket has been prepared. After East’s defeat of North, and Old Boys’ win over Petone, who are at the head of the championship, a bright display of cricket is expected, as both teams are fairly evenly balanced. Thorndon and North will try conclusions at the Hutt Park, and Petone and Hutt at Petone. UMPIRES FOR TO-MORROW. Umpires for to-morrow have been appointed as follow: — Senior —East v. Old Boys (Basin Reserve), Messrs. Gardner and AVebb; North v. Thorndon (Hutt No. 1), Messrs. Bock and Carroll; Ilutt v. Petone (Petone), Messrs. Rodgers’ and Pickering. Junior A—East v. Poneke (Kelburn No 3), Messrs. Thompson and Davis; Old Boys v. Y.M.C.A. B (Kelburn No. 2), Messrs. Kelling ami Francis; Thorndon v. Y.M.C.A. A (Kelburn No. 1), Messrs. Toomath and Waddy. Junior B-Y.M.C.A. v. Hutt (Hutt No. 2), Messrs. Jenness and M'Bain. The North senior team against Thorndon at Hutt Park on Saturday will be: Burton, Aliudleton, Bray, Quinn, Paterson, Fulton, Hiddleston, Patrick, Hallam, Roßinson, Ashford.
