FLOATING IN THE SURF. By Telegraph—Press Association. Christchurch, January 12. The decomposed body of a man was found floating in the surf ‘at Sumner today. It is believed to be that of the man who jumped into the sea from the pier a fortnight ago, leaving his cßat and vest on the pier. In. the pocket of the coat was about £7 in cash and an address, “John Baird, care of J. Studholme,’Hinds.”
