Both beef and mutibn showed a slight recovery on lastl week, and lambs jumped s*. lo 6s. per head. Tho store market was lifeless. Store Sheep.—A small entry, mostly of two-tootli wethers, which sold at; low prices in some cases. Fair 4 and Gtooth wethers' realised 235. 9d. to 255. lid.; cull 4-toolh wethers, 18s. 3d.; good 2-tooth wethers, 225. 7d. 110 255.; fair 2bootli wethers, 17s. to 20s. 7d.; cull 2tooth wethers, 13s. to lGs. Bd.; two-tooth ewes 82s. Id.; cull 1 and 6-iboth ewes, 18s. Gd. , , ' Fat. Lambs.—l4lo wore yarded, compared with 1150 last week, a "lot" salo averaging over Is. a lb. throughout. Not one lamb was sold at under 30s. Extra prime lambs realised lis. to 435.; prinio lambs, 3Gs. to 405.; medium lambs, 335. to 355. !)d.; lighter lambs, SOs. to 325. Gd, Fat Sheep.—Between Bcven and eight races wero penned, compared with eleven last week. The sale was freer all round, aiid there was a Blight _ recovery in values, particularly for lighter mutton. Extra prime wethers sold at 405.; primo wethers. 345. to 38s. Gd.; medium wethers. 295. fid. i« 335.
