JAPANESE MATCHES
"SAFETIES" IGNITED BY CONCUSSION. A mysterious fire which broke out in the grocoiy shop of John Yuille, Auburn, lormed the subject of an inquiry by tlio f nrramattn District Coroner. • Mr. Y.uilio told the Coroner that his Experience wns that it was an easy tiling' for safety matches to start a fire by simply falling from a shelf on to the floor. A .gust of wind through the fanlight or the vibration of the building would cause the matches to work off tho 6helf.
