« POINT O'P INTEREST ARGUED DETORE MAGISTRATE. By Telegraph—Press Association. Napier, December 21. During the hearing of a case in tho 'Magistrate's Court to-day a point of general interest was argued. It appealed that a Wcllinston newspaper wrongly inserted an advertisement making the advertised salary appear to be A'- 10s. instead of £2, and the mistake was not discovered until the employee had 'Worked for six months. Both counsel stated that they had been unable to tind a similar case recorded. It was argued at length whether a newspaper is the agent of "its advertisers. The Magistrate remarked that' it was a nicc point and reserved his judgment.
