Owing to tlie unsatisfactory development work the directors of the Talisman Consolidated Mine have decided, -with a view to the curtailment of expenses, that the mine be closed down as soon as the riatcrlal in the underground workings can. be withdrawn. Thiß will probably take a few weeks.
