DINNER WITH LABOUR PARTY CANCELLED.
(Rco. December 16, 10.40 p.m.) London, December 16. A mysterious announcement has been issued. In consequence of certain constitutional points which were overlooked, the invitations issued to certain members of the Labour Party to ft, dinner which it was hoped the Prince of Wales would attend have been cancelled. It w added that it is hoped tho Prince will bo able to meet Labour members at a later date. -Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. ' fA message published on Tuesday stated that a prominent member of the House of Commons had arranged a dinner, at the Houso of Commons on December 20, at which a number of J*J»ur members would meet the Prince of Wales.
