BRITISH ARMY VOTE
POLICY IN MESOPOTAMIA AND PERSIA.
(Eec, December 16, 10.40 p.m.) London, December 16. A motion by Mr. Asquith for a reduction of the supplementary Army vote was / defeated by lfc votes to 82.. The debate oentred on the British policy in Mesopotamia and Persia. , Mr. Llovd George said: "The reduction of the forces in the East is going on steadily. Wo are now bent on setting up an Arab State and ft complete withdrawal from Turkey in the spring.
