I The Government has received an appeal from Lord Milnor, Secretary of State for 5b Colonies, for fuiuls to be used for tnc relief of distress in Central Europe nnd particularly to combat typhus "i Poland. This fund is distinct from tho Save the.Children Fund,, and will bo administered by the Imperial War Relief Fund, The Nov Zealand public has, up to date subscribed about .£50,000 for the Save the Children Fund.. Any money* subscribed for the Imperial War Belief Fund will be forwarded by the Interiml Affairs Department on their receipt Irom any persons desirous of subscribing.
