GERMAN DEFENCE FORCES
OBJECTIONS TO THEIR BEING DISARMED. . _ Berlin, December 11. The German Government, in reply to the Allied Note regarding the disarmament of tho self-dcfeJice forces, claims that the completion of the surrender of arms does not apply to Bavaria or East Prussia. Bavaria is silill completely under tho influence of the Soviet regime, and tho telf-defenco force ennnot bo disarmed so long as the country is confronted with the possibility of being defenceless against revolutionaries equipped with modern weapons; while East, Prussia is suffering from warlike i'cts on its frontier and the entry of portions of tho Russian and Polish aiAnies, and must supplement her inadequate States forces, —Aus.-N.Z.
